JOB TITLE: VOLUNTEER CENTRE MANAGER
REPORTS TO: Chairperson of the Board, and the Board.
LOCATION: County Roscommon, office based in Roscommon town.
HOURS: * hours per week, permanent, involving
occasional evening and weekend work.
SALARY: Commensurate with experience and qualifications
ABOUT US
Roscommon Volunteer Centre is part of a national network of
independent volunteer centres supported by Volunteer Ireland and
funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development. As a
registered charity, we promote volunteering and provide a county-wide
service connecting volunteers with non-profit organisations.
Our purpose is to support the people of Roscommon to have a
flourishing, vibrant community, with volunteering at its heart.
ROLE SUMMARY
The Volunteer Centre Manager is responsible for managing the
operations of Roscommon Volunteer Centre, promoting volunteerism, and
supporting both volunteers and volunteer-involving organisations. This
includes implementing strategic objectives, fostering innovation, and
ensuring that the centre operates effectively in alignment with the
Board’s vision.
